Course Overview
This provides school employees with information required to give them an understanding of stress. It gives staff sufficient knowledge in order to enable them to recognise signs of stress which may be due to personal and or workplace issues. The course provides ideas of how personal stress can be managed.
Intended Outcomes
The aim of this course is to provide the tools/skills/information for employees to manage their own stress. The course will provide staff with the following:
- Definition of stress
- How to spot the signs of stress
- Understanding the importance of self-awareness when managing personal stress
- The importance of a healthy diet and lifestyle
- Identifying appropriate interventions for managing personal stress
- Showing employees where to get help and support

Designed for all school employees.
Duration
45 minutes to 1 hour.

Assessment
To successfully complete the course, learners will be required to pass a short assessment.
