This course will provide you with an overview of the law regarding Fertility Treatment.

Intended Outcomes

This course will provide you with knowledge needed when managing employees undergoing fertility treatment and will provide you with knowledge on the following areas surrounding this topic:

• What is IVF;
• Potential discrimination issues;
• Sex discrimination during the early stages of treatment;
• Pregnancy and maternity discrimination;
• Harassment;
• Time off;
• Time off for antenatal care;
• Protection against dismissal and detriment;
• Health and safety; and
• Confidentiality;

Who is it for

This course is an introduction into Fertility Treatment and is aimed at aspiring members of the Senior Leadership Team, Line Managers, members of the Governing Body and School Business Managers.

Assessment
