This course will provide you with an overview of the law regarding Dependant Leave.

This course will provide you with knowledge needed when dealing with Dependant Leave and will provide you with knowledge on the following areas surrounding this topic:

• What is Dependants Leave;
• When does the right to dependant leave arise;
• Examples of where the right to Dependant Leave arises;
• Who is a Dependant;
• How much time off is covered for this leave;
• What is the normal time off allowed;
• Is this leave paid or unpaid; and
• Obligations on the Employee.

Who is it for

This course is an introduction into Dependant Leave and is aimed at aspiring members of the Senior Leadership Team, Line Managers, members of the Governing Body and School Business Managers.
