Course Overview:
This course is designed to provide Premises staff with the knowledge to enable them to complete suitable in-house visual inspections of fire extinguishers.
Intended Outcomes:
By the end of this course, you will have an understanding of;
- The importance of undertaking regular inspections of fire extinguishers
- An awareness of the types of fire extinguishers commonly used
- An awareness of the different types of fire extinguishers inspections
- How to complete suitable in-house inspections
- The pass/fail criteria for a visual inspection of a fire extinguishers

This course is available as part of our eLearning annual licence which includes unlimited access to the full Health and Safety eLearning Library for £1,385 plus VAT per annum.
Alternatively, if your school subscribes to our annual Health and Safety Support Service, you will receive access to our entire health and safety eLearning library at no extra cost.
Assessment:
To successfully complete the course, learners will be required to pass a short assessment.
CPD:
Upon successful completion of the course learners will be issued a CPD accredited certificate to download. The course equates to 0.5 hour of CPD.
