Course Overview:
This course is designed for Managing Food hygiene within schools – To comply with the Food Safety Act 1990 and the associated Food Hygiene Regulations in England, Wales and Scotland and a procedure to prevent the spread of infection by advising which illnesses and symptoms staff should report and what schools should do in response.
Intended Outcomes:
Upon completion of the course, delegates will be able to ensure all food handlers within the educational sector understand the principles of food hygiene and know how to work safely to ensure the food served within the school is not contaminated.
Who is it for:
This Food Hygiene Level 2 course is suitable for anyone with food safety responsibilities within the school. This includes the Catering sector and Food Technology departments within the schools.

The Cost:
This course is available as part of our eLearning annual licence which includes unlimited access to the full Health and Safety eLearning Library for £1,385 plus VAT per annum.
Alternatively, if your school subscribes to our annual Health and Safety Support Service, you will receive access to our entire health and safety eLearning library at no extra cost.
Assessment:
Each delegate will be required to undertake a 10-question exam. Candidates will receive a certificate upon successfully completing the course and passing the exam (80%).
CPD:
Upon successful completion of the course learners will be issued a CPD accredited certificate to download. The course equates to 3 hours of CPD.
