Fire Warden Training for Schools
Course Overview:
This course provides the participant with the information required to be a Fire Warden at their school. You will have been assigned this responsibility by the Head Fire warden or Head teacher / Principal.
Intended Outcomes:
At the end of this training course you will have a suitable understanding of fire safety. The course will cover the following topics:
- Your responsibilities as a Fire Warden
- How to sweep a building for occupants
- Fire safety equipment in your building, passive and active
- Fire Extinguishers
- Emergency Procedures responsibilities
- Fire Warden fire safety management responsibilities
Who is it for:
All staff who have been assigned Fire Warden duties. All such staff are also required to complete the Judicium Education Fire Safety Training course.
Duration:
45 – 60 minutes.
The Cost:
This course is available as part of our eLearning annual licence which includes unlimited access to the full Health and Safety eLearning Library for £1,385 plus VAT per annum.
Alternatively, if your school subscribes to our annual Health and Safety Support Service, you will receive access to our entire health and safety eLearning library at no extra cost.
Assessment:
To successfully complete the course, learners will be required to pass a short assessment.
CPD:
Upon successful completion of the course learners will be issued a CPD accredited certificate to download. The course equates to 1 hour of CPD.
