Manual Handling for Schools
Course Overview:
This course provides the participants with the knowledge required to complete manual handling within the school safely.
Intended Outcomes:
On completion of this training the participant with have an appropriate understanding of the following:
- What is Manual Handling?
- The anatomy of the back, including types of injuries Manual Handling can cause
- Recognise and employ good lifting and moving techniques
- The factors that must be considered when carrying out Manual Handling activities

All staff
Duration:
30 minutes.
The Cost:
This course is available as part of our eLearning annual licence which includes unlimited access to the full Health and Safety eLearning Library for £1,385 plus VAT per annum.
Alternatively, if your school subscribes to our annual Health and Safety Support Service, you will receive access to our entire health and safety eLearning library at no extra cost.
Assessment:
To successfully complete the course, learners will be required to pass a short assessment.
CPD:
Upon successful completion of the course learners will be issued a CPD accredited certificate to download. The course equates to 1 hour of CPD.
