What this course contains

This course is designed to provide attendees with the information needed to be able to carry out user equipment checks, plan inspections, monitor, keep records and also have some knowledge of the danger from work equipment.

Intended outcomes

Course participants will:

• Know and understand the relevant legislation
• Be given a full overview of the typical work equipment/machinery
• Complete work equipment risk assessments
• Fully understand the inspection and maintenance requirements

Who is this course for

This course is suitable for staff that use work equipment and is responsible to ensure it is maintained and inspected as per legal requirements.

The cost

The course costs £719.25 + VAT and can be delivered on site for up to 16 delegates.

For schools that do not subscribe to our Health & Safety Support Service, fees are £1,080.71 plus VAT.

Assessment

To successfully complete the course, attendees will be required to pass a short assessment.

CPD

Upon successful completion of the course attendees will be issued a CPD accredited certificate. The course equates to 3 hours of CPD.
