Intended outcomes

Course participants will:

• Identify the common signs of stress and how they affect the individual and the collective group
• Identify how stress management, staff welfare and Health and Safety management work collectively to mitigate the effects of stressors.
• Understand the short and long-term benefits of managing stress at work
• Use the HSE Management Standards to develop and implement new strategies to manage stress at work
• Support individuals as well as teams and larger staff groups on specific and broader issues

Who is this course for

This course enables Managers to consider the management of workplace stress at an individual and organisational level, so they can develop and implement effective strategies to manage stress work and create a positive and supportive work environment. Our Stress Management in Schools course can help to improve and increase performance from affected staff and the overall improvement in staff wellbeing

The cost

The course costs £719.25 + VAT for clients who subscribe to our Health & Safety Support Service and can be delivered on site or remotely for to up to 16 delegates.

For schools that do not subscribe to our Health & Safety Support Service, the fees are £1,080.71 + VAT.

Delivery

This course can be delivered face to face or as live online courses via Microsoft Teams for groups up to 16 delegates. Our sessions are led by CMIOSH trainers and allow participants in different locations to be guided through the course content, hear the presenter, ask questions, and participate in group discussions and case studies

Assessment

To complete the course, participants will be required to pass a short assessment. On successful completion of the course and passing the exam (80%) candidates will receive a certificate

CPD:

Upon successful completion of the course participants will be issued a CPD accredited certificate. The course equates to 3 hours of CPD.
