Who is it for?
This course is aimed at those that will be involved in planning, running, or overseeing a restructure or redundancy process. This could include Governors, Trustees, members of SLT, SBMs, or HR staff.
Intended Outcomes
This course will provide an overview of the key areas for consideration and potential pitfalls when planning a restructure or redundancy process, including:
- The type of process to follow;
- Who will be involved in the process;
- Timeframes to consider;
- Selection criteria;
- The approvals needed to commence a formal process;
- The implications of the Modification Order;
- Costs;
- What to do about staff on long term sickness, family friendly leave and fixed term roles;
- Notice periods; and
- How to support staff throughout the process.

The cost of this session is £110 plus VAT per person for Employment Law and HR Clients and £140 plus VAT per person for non - Employment Law and HR Clients.
CPD
This course equates to 2.5 hours of CPD and following attendance on the course, participants will be sent electronic copies of their CPD certificate, along with copies of the slides and activities discussed during the session.
