Sexual Harassment Training & Resource Package
Since 26 October 2024, all employers are under a legal duty to protect their workers from sexual harassment, by taking reasonable steps to prevent sexual harassment from taking place within the work environment.
The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) have confirmed that there are three main areas for employers to think about:
- Engaging with employees: Foster a culture of zero tolerance by clearly demonstrating your commitment to addressing sexual harassment seriously. Provide training and resources to all staff, not just Managers/SLT, on what sexual harassment is and what to do if it happens.
- Creating a safe workplace environment: Proactively manage the physical and social aspects of the workplace to ensure the highest level of safety. Completing a Risk Assessment and keeping this continuously reviewed. Keeping staff mindful of their behaviour and the behaviour of others, to ensuring a continuous anti-harassment message is being confirmed by the employer
- Establishing effective practices: Implement robust policies and procedures to identify instances of sexual harassment and address them effectively.

Training
- Live interactive Manager/SLT training:
- £150 + VAT per attendee (Judicium HR clients)
- £200 + VAT per attendee (non-Judicium HR clients)
- Pre-recorded training for all remaining staff:
- 1 – 50 employees per school: £500 + VAT
- 50 – 100 employees per school: £900 + VAT
- 100 – 150 employees per school: £1,200 + VAT
- 150 - 200 employees per school: £1,400 + VAT
- 200+ employees per school: £1,500 + VAT

Location
- The managers live training will be run remotely via Zoom.
- The staff training will be a pre-recorded video which can be accessed when required.

Additional Information
SLT & Manager Live interactive training
It is recommended that SLT members and those with line management responsibilities attend this course, as they are key to addressing reported issues. The interactive training covers workplace discrimination, harassment vs. bullying, sexual harassment, reporting procedures, and compliance with new legal duties to prevent future claims.
The session will be run multiple times to accommodate all participants, with dates provided after purchase or upon request. Organisations can choose to book managers and SLT members into the same session or allow them to select individual dates and times.
Staff Recorded training
This recorded workshop-style training is designed for staff who have not attended the SLT & Manager live training session. It focuses on the impact of the new duty on employees, covering types of discrimination, sexual harassment, prevention strategies, and reporting procedures, with interactive elements.
The training allows customisation to include school or Trust-specific details, such as policy locations and reporting channels. It is intended for group viewing during internal training sessions, not individual use. Guidance on delivering this training to staff will be provided.
