This briefing is aimed at those involved with day-to-day management of staff. This could include Governors, Trustees, members of SLT, SBMs, HR team members or line managers.

Briefing Overview

This briefing will provide an overview of the nine protected characteristics outlined in the Equality Act 2010. The session will also provide a summary of the key types of discrimination that employers need to be mindful of, how these can be avoided and how protected characteristics may require employers to change or adapt their processes on some occasion.
