The aim of the course is to provide you with the knowledge to understand the following: Understand what a subject access request is and what is required by law to make such a request valid - The difference between this request and a freedom of information request - What exemptions are there to subject access requests - What to do when dealing with third party data - Dealing with requests from parents - How to respond to the request with these points in mind.
