The aim of the course is to provide you with the knowledge to understand the following: What the data protection principles are - What is meant by accountability under the new data protection regulations - How to apply the data protection principles in practice - What the fair processing conditions are - The difference between fair processing conditions for personal data and sensitive personal data - How the fair processing conditions apply in schools
Intended Outcomes:
The aim of the course is to provide you with the knowledge to understand the following: When is it appropriate to notify the ICO or an individual of a breach of data protection. If you do need to notify an individual or the ICO, how you go about notifying them. As part of this session, you will learn about: -:

- What is meant by accountability under the new data protection regulations.
- How to apply the data protection principles in practice.
- What the fair processing conditions are.
- The difference between fair processing conditions for personal data and sensitive personal data.
- How the fair processing conditions apply in schools.
