Strategic Challenge for Safeguarding Trustees and Governors

This course is suitable for the Safeguarding Governor or Safeguarding Trustee role, focusing on how to offer strategic challenge in relation to safeguarding. Focusing on top tips and strategies to triangulate information shared by leaders and ensure rigour in line with statutory guidance.

This session will cover:

• The role of governors and trustees in relation to safeguarding duties
• Key guidance behind the duty
• The safeguarding culture of a school
• Key components of KCSIE part 2
• Practical ways to provide strategic challenge to schools

Assessment

• This training is assessed via a short quiz at the end.
• The course is CPD accredited, and participants will receive a certificate of attendance.

Cost

• The course costs £80 + VAT for Judicium Safeguarding Clients and £100 + VAT for non-Judicium Clients
