Course Overview:

The aim of the course is to increase your confidence in managing difficult conversations related to safeguarding.

Intended Outcomes:

The course will support you to:

• Consider what makes some conversations difficult and why it is still essential to have them,
• Develop an understanding of psychological theories around conflict,
• Understand our own reactions to conflict and how this may affect our management of difficult conversations,
• Gain strategies to plan and conduct effective challenging conversations and  
• Be aware of the barriers individuals may have to accept your views/ change their behaviour.

60 minutes.

The Cost:

This course is available as part of our eLearning annual licence which includes unlimited access to the full Safeguarding eLearning Library for £ 995 plus VAT per annum.

Alternatively, if your school subscribes to our annual Safeguarding Support Service, you will receive access to our entire Safeguarding eLearning library at no extra cost.

Assessment:

To successfully complete the course, learners will be required to pass a short assessment.

CPD:

Upon successful completion of the course learners will be issued a CPD accredited certificate to download. The course equates to 60 minutes of CPD.
