Course Overview:
The aim of the course is to increase your knowledge of Child Criminal Exploitation (CCE) and County Lines, important topics within Keeping Children Safe in Education.
Intended Outcomes:
Child Criminal Exploitation (CCE) is when an individual or group takes advantage of an imbalance in power to coerce, manipulate or deceive a child into committing crime. County lines is a type of CCE, usually involving the exploitation of children to move drugs between locations. The course will provide you with the knowledge to understand the following:
- The definition of CCE and what it looks like in practice
- The signs of a child being exploited
- How schools can tackle CCE

60 minutes.
The Cost:
This course is available as part of our eLearning annual licence which includes unlimited access to the full Safeguarding eLearning Library for £ 995 plus VAT per annum.
Alternatively, if your school subscribes to our annual Safeguarding Support Service, you will receive access to our entire Safeguarding eLearning library at no extra cost.
Assessment:
To successfully complete the course, learners will be required to pass a short assessment.
CPD:
Upon successful completion of the course learners will be issued a CPD accredited certificate to download. The course equates to 60 minutes of CPD.
