Misogyny and Extremism

As the government plans to treat extreme misogyny as a form of extremism, this session will delve into the attitudes behind misogyny, self-identified incels and how schools can challenge these rhetoric’s.

This webinar provides DSLS, Senior Leaders and PSHE leads with the knowledge to understand the following:

• How pupils are targeted online by negative misogynistic rhetoric
• How the government is seeking to tackle extreme misogyny
• What as incel is
• What language and terminology incels might use
• How schools can identify and support students who display misogynistic attitudes
