In response to the Government plan to re-open schools full-time from the beginning of the autumn term, the Judicium Education Health & Safety consultant team have reviewed the schools re-opening risk assessment template.
As per Government guidance for education, preventing the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) involves dealing with direct transmission e.g. when in close contact with those sneezing and coughing and indirect transmission e.g. touching contaminated surfaces.
We hope everyone has enjoyed their half term. This week is Mental Health Awareness Week and has come at a time when many people are struggling with the current situation of the coronavirus and lockdown, for one reason or another.
From the week commencing 1st June at the earliest, the government has asked schools to open to selected year groups. In order to do this schools are required to complete a risk assessment and follow guidance as to how this can be done safely.
As we start moving towards the easing of lockdown measures, we wish to update you with a few new developments.
