Intended Outcomes
Course participants will be able to:-
- Review their own health and safety management system and align it to HSE guidance.
- Apply basic management principles and practices to safety and health issues as part of a total management strategy.
- Recognise safety and health hazards and implement control measures.
- Carry out and record risk assessment and recommend suitable control measures.
- Ensure adequate information, training and supervision are provided for employees.
- Investigate and accident or incident involving injury or damage to determine the causes and take appropriate actions.
Who is this course for
Designed for Business Managers, Resource Directors, senior level managers or any person responsible for managing or leading Health and Safety in educational organisations.
The cost
The course costs £495.00 + VAT per delegate for the two days and can be delivered to groups of up to 16 delegates.
The course costs £395.00 + VAT per person for existing H&S clients. Group discounts may be agreed for groups with a minimum of 12 people. The maximum group size is 16.
Assessment
To successfully complete the course, attendees will be required to pass a short assessment.
CPD
Upon successful completion of the course attendees will be issued a CPD accredited certificate. The course equates to 12 hours of CPD.
