KCSIE 2023: What Do All Staff Need to Know?
September is one of the busiest times in school. There’s a brand-new intake, often new staff and great deal of refresher training to organise.
With 179 pages of guidance, reviewing and condensing Keeping Children Safe in Education can feel daunting. This session will help you focus on the key changes to KCSIE 2023 to ensure your safeguarding training program is up to date. We’ll also highlight the 2022 changes so you can be sure you complied with all previous guidance.
During the session we will be covering the following:
- A review of what KCSIE outlines what all staff should know.
- A reminder of updates to this and last year’s KCSIE and what staff should know in relation to these.
- Top tips on how to get across the fundamentals to staff.
