Accredited Fire Risk Assessments

About this event

No matter who carries out your fire risk assessment the school retains the responsibility for ensuring the adequacy of that assessment. Therefore if you're employing a specialist to undertake your fire risk assessment, whilst you are not expected to be an expert in fire safety, you should make reasonable checks to ensure that they are competent to do the job properly.

During the session we will be looking at:

    • What is a BAFE-Accredited Fire Risk Assessment?

    • Key responsibilities of school leadership
    • Common fire safety challenges in schools
    • Let us introduce you to this week's professional speaker
